Carpinteria is a small town with a big heart. We love nothing more than hosting visitors from out of town whether it’s a day trip or for the whole weekend, we have what you’ll need.
The Festival will take place on Linden Avenue in the heart of Carpinteria.
How to get here & where to stay
Carpinteira is one of California’s last small beach towns. Stunning mountains ranges meet our white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. If you need help on direction getting here or where to stay we’ve got you covered.

Want to skip the parking downtown? You can park at Carpinteria High School (4810 Foothill Rd, Carpinteria, CA 93013) and take the shuttle for just $5 per person down to the festival.

Getting Here
From the North:
Take Highway 101 south and exit on Linden Ave., turn right into the downtown area and the entrance to the Avocado Festival.From the South: Take Highway 101 north and Casitas Pass Road, turn left onto Via Real and then left again on to Casitas Pass. Then make a right onto Carpinteria Avenue and travel down to Linden Avenue

🚌 Shuttle service from Carpinteria High School lot $5 for round trip shuttle service.

- Sunday 12PM-6:15PMPaid Parking also available at Aliso School as a fundraiser with hours:
- Friday: 6pm - 11:30pm (gates will be locked, any cars left on basketball court will be left until next morning)
- Saturday: 10:30am - 10:30pm (gates will be locked, any cars left on basketball court will be left until next morning)
- Sunday: 10:30am - 6:30pm (gates will be locked and any remaining cars will be towed)
